Director of Growth Marketing

Full Time

The Director of Growth Marketing is a key member of the marketing leadership team reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will be responsible for building a marketing pipeline and lead nurturing through the execution of marketing campaigns that result in revenue across regions and solutions.

Working collaboratively with marketing and sales leaders, you will own lead generation, ensure alignment with sales and develop a cadence of campaign programs using multiple channels to deliver results. You will build and implement campaigns, ensure timely follow-up and handoff to sales, measuring results and make adjustments to optimize resources and outcomes to maximize Return on Revenue (ROR). 

Responsibilities

  • Build a powerful demand generation campaign strategy with supporting campaigns that are highly scalable, repeatable and measurable
  • Develop campaigns that consist of online and offline personalized experiences
  • Lead the full lifecycle of demand marketing programs including developing, executing, coordinating and measuring integrated campaigns to support consistent and relevant demand generation
  • Manage and partner with PR team/agency/contractor to develop campaigns to target market over a variety of audience-appropriate channels
  • Work with internal and external resources to create and craft compelling content, offers, and assets to educate marketplace via webinars, emails, direct mail, account based programs, and social channels
  • Develop and or refine lead waterfall process for inbound lead generation to enable lead capture, automated workflows, qualified lead handoff, conversion rates to measure marketing sourced deals
  • Drive qualified leads, opportunity engagement and marketing contribution to pipeline in partnership with sales and the marketing/sales development representative team 
  • Use data and testing tactics to optimize overall results
  • Apply KPIs, analytics, and insights to better profile, target, and re-target prospects; drive continual optimization of campaign performance
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns: asses against goals (ROI & KPI)
  • Measure and monitor sales funnel activity, making recommendations to address coverage gaps.

Qualifications

Just as we don’t have fixed responsibilities, we do not stand on rigid qualifications. As guidance, people with this kind of background tend to do well:

  • 10+ years’ experience in technology marketing with demonstrated results in demand gen, integrated marketing, and global customer segment programs (minimum of 4+ years in leadership positions)
  • A demonstrated track record building, managing and motivating a high performing team of marketing professionals
  • Track record of success in demand marketing at a high growth B2B technology company with multiple product lines, regions and distribution channels
  • Familiarity with the Sirius Decisions demand generation framework desired
  • Ability to determine, implement and adjust the mix between marketing tactics to efficiently utilize those that best connect with the variety of buyers involved in a software sale
  • Deep understanding and experience using a wide range of marketing disciplines including cross media communications, account based marketing, email, web, PPC, SEO, social media, and events to connect with target buyers
  • Shown experience running lead scoring and nurturing programs
  • Shown ability to develop and manage budgets
  • Strong familiarity with marketing automation vendors such as Marketo, and Salesforce.com. Strong understanding of current marketing strategies, technologies and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a high energy, fast growth environment
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence and motivate team members cross-functionally
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to drive multiple projects forward cross-functionally 
  • Cloud, Network, and/or cybersecurity experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent experience
